Research Group Presentation
Our group aims at devising and developing innovative solutions for Natural Language Processing, Understanding, and Generation. We pursue a vision focused on integrating explicit, symbolic knowledge with deep learning.
The UniBo Natural Language Processing Group (UniboNLP) in Cesena campus, led by prof. Gianluca Moro, includes Ph.D. students and researchers of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering of the University of Bologna.
Valuable Tasks
Chatbots, Text Summarization, Semantic Parsing, Data-to-Text, Question Answering, Recommendation Systems, Information Retrieval, Representation Learning, etc.
Research Themes
Large Language Models, Graph Neural Networks, Memory- and Retrieval-Enhanced Language Models, Knowledge Injection, Neuro-Symbolic AI, Deep Metric Learning, Multimodal AI, Explainability, etc.
Open and Closed Domains
Our research moves from General-domain and Commonsense to Medical, Biomedical, and Legal real-world applications, including collaborations with impactful companies and research groups
